What Does Dlc Stand for in Call of Duty

Gamers might have a tough time remembering the designation "DP27" but when somebody says, "That gun with the weird round disc on top of it in Call of Duty: Vanguard " they'll know exactly what is being discussed. Unfortunately, this LMG does not enjoy a great reputation in the community.

Statistically, it's in the middle of the round and hardly feels like an LMG with about half of the bullets in the magazine. But with some work, there is actually a remarkable fun build that makes the DP27 feel like the best friend of every teammate in Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Operator

• Any

Any operator that has a favorite weapon gives extra experience to that weapon and extra experience for themselves when using it. Unfortunately, the DP27 doesn't have any operator that lists it as their favorite. That makes leveling it up take slightly longer.

The good news is that players who have unlocked every operator can use their favorite one without feeling like they are missing out on anything. At the max level, it won't matter which operator is using which weapon anyhow.

With middle-of-the-road statistics, it's hard to believe that the DP27 was given the designation of being one of the automatically unlocked starter weapons in the game. But that doesn't mean it can't excel, though it is, admittedly, in a very unorthodox way.

Like many LMGs, suppression and support are a feature of this weapon. Unlike others, this loadout is capable of extreme silence. It's still deadly enough and capable of doing some damage at range, but enemies will be baffled at where the shots are raining down from for much of the match.

Secondary Weapon

• M1 Bazooka

As expected, support players are expected to deal with the killstreak rewards of enemy teams that fly in the sky. The DP27 is a great candidate for this task since movement speed isn't a necessary part of the game. Hanging back, it also has a good view of the aircraft.

Completing the "Ticket Please" achievement requires getting the high ground, but any place of safety will work for the M1 Bazooka. It's not a quiet weapon, so be sure to move around a little bit after firing it.

Perks

Perk 1	Cold Blooded
Perk 2	Piercing Vision
Perk 3	Tactician

Players could have used these perks during a number of campaign missions, but they provide more multiplayer benefits than anything else. Since players can take out killstreaks themselves, Cold Blooded helps out with those killstreaks that can be shot down.

Piercing Vision is a cinch for support players, who can mark enemies and keep track of them for longer. Though they may not be lethal, Tactician goes a long way in securing the back ranks and can even net a free kill or two against stunned opponents.

Lethal Slot

• Demolition Charge

Getting a stun and a kill is easy as pie with the Demolition Charge. But even without the help of mines, the Demolition Charge can help control the battlefield by killing enemies that try to get in close. Place it in an uncomfortably close area that is subject to traffic.

The DP27 wants enemies at a decent distance away. A nearby charge will allow players to score a kill on enemies who make their way in close. It's an insurance policy against creative minds that try to infiltrate the backlines.

Tactical Slot

• S-Mine 44

It's true that different versions of the game have different unlocks available, but all players will eventually get access to the S-Mine 44, a stun mine that briefly stops opponents. Thanks to the Tactical perk, this mine will recharge frequently, allowing players to protect themselves from more than just one side.

Combined with the Demolition Charge, the S-Mine 44 can go from tactical to lethal rather quickly. But even without it, when players hear a charge go off, simply aim at the sound with the DP27 and fire away. This should be good for at least a kill or two per match.

Killstreaks

• Care Package
• Glide Bomb
• Deathmachine

Care Package has long been a player favorite. It has a 92% chance of giving a killstreak reward that is equal to or greater than the four kills it takes to acquire it. The risk is that players need to be in a safe place to pick it up, but that should be more often than not for the DP27.

This loadout has a great, but not unlimited, range. For those snipers in the back, drop a Glide Bomb on them. Deathmachine is a weapon that won't force players to change their playstyle with the DP27, it behaves in the same way, it just adds an element of lethality.

Field Upgrade

• Goliath

The Goliath gets almost no love from players because of its long cooldown time, even if it does essentially guarantee at least one kill. The DP27 can make some good use of it by controlling the miniature tank and steering it into places that opponents like to hide.

Every kill counts, even for a support and suppression player. The Goliath itself isn't discrete, but it is a way of snagging a kill or two without giving away the player's position.

Call of Duty: Vanguard was released on November 5th, 2021, and is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
